Watching the world go rushing by
Often feels forlorn,
But not right now.
The drudgery of the mindless masses
Often gets me down,
But not today.
Today the music fills my ears,
A soundtrack to this dreamy moment,
Life becomes so calm and clear,
As streetlights blur into oblivion,
In this happenstance upon
Momentary peace.
